- We’re highlighting 20 scientific foundations, institutions, and research groups from around the world that we’ve partnered with in an expansion of our AI for Science program, which gives free Claude credits to researchers working on high-impact scientific projects.
- We started the AI for Science program in May 2025 with the belief that AI could significantly speed up scientific progress. Our goal is to increase access to AI tools and resources to enable researchers to deepen and expand their own scientific work. (Over the last few months, we’ve also launched our discounted Team plan for scientists and have supported hundreds of projects across biology, medicine, physics, chemistry, climate science, and mathematics.)
- Scientists have told us that they’re working with Claude to generate hypotheses, design experiments, swiftly analyze complex data, and communicate findings. With scientists at the center of this transformation, the field is setting the questions and developing the research projects that will help us tackle some of humanity’s toughest problems.
